Wire Transfers

Instantly move funds anywhere in the world! Whether you’re sending money to family, paying urgent bills, or making business transactions, send money quickly and securely. 

Incoming Wires

Domestic

Please provide the following information to the financial institution initiating the domestic wire transfer:

  • Bank Name: Johns Hopkins Credit Union
  • Bank ABA (aka routing and transit): ABA #: 252076235
  • Beneficiary Name and Address: Member’s name and address
  • Beneficiary Account number: Member’s 12-digit account number

International

Please provide the following information to the financial institution initiating the international wire transfer:

  • Beneficiary Bank SWIFT BIC (aka Credit Agent BIC): MANTUS33
  • Beneficiary Bank Name (aka Creditor Agent): Manufacturers & Traders Trust Company (M&T Bank)

Outgoing Wires

You must sign a wire transfer authorization form before we can initiate an outgoing wire. You may be required to present photo ID for all wire transfer requests.

  • Online wire forms are available in Online Banking; you must send completed forms to JHCU for processing.
  • We provide wires in Euros, British Pounds, Canadian Dollars, Japanese Yen, and more. For a full list of currencies, please contact us. 
  • We will provide you with a conversion rate when you request the transfer.
  • Outgoing wire transfers are subject to a fee.
Important: All wire transfer requests are subject to callback verification. Address and telephone numbers are required and must match what is on file. If your address and/or contact information have changed within the last 30 days, we may not be able to complete your request.

Shared Branching

Whether you’re at work, home, or traveling, managing your JHCU account is simple. Enjoy access to over 5,500 credit union locations nationwide courtesy of our CO-OP Shared Branching Network, and bank like you’re at home, wherever you are!

What You'll Need

When visiting a shared branch, be sure to bring:

  • Your JHCU account number
  • A valid government-issued photo ID
  • A smartphone1 (for out-of-state withdrawals)

Notary Services

Do you need document signatures witnessed and notarized? Enjoy FREE notary services as a JHCU member. 

What You'll Need

  • Please provide your valid state or government-issued ID
  • Notarized documents must be signed in the presence of the notary

Medallion Signature Guarantee 

Medallion Signature Guarantee services are available at lobby locations to members who need a signature guarantee for a sale, assignment, transfer, or redemption of a security transaction up to $250,000. 

Keep in mind this program does not cover changes or transfers in ownership of a stock or mutual fund transaction, nor does it guarantee changes in address, name, or beneficiaries.

What You'll Need

  • Please provide your valid state or government-issued ID and the most recent transaction statement showing the investment value is equal to or less than $250,000
  • Owners of security must be present for the signature
  • Notarized documents must be signed in the presence of the notary
