The MD|DC Credit Union Association has selected Kaytlin Wack, marketing growth specialist at Johns Hopkins Credit Union (JHCU), as the recipient of the 2026 Miriam Lieb Emerging Leader Award.
The award, which honors the legacy of Miriam Rivera Lieb, highlights standout young professionals under 40 who display exceptional leadership and a strong commitment to the core values of the credit union community.
JHCU, the credit union that has been serving the Hopkins community and its affiliates for 50 years, welcomed Kaytlin to the team in 2023, where she began her journey as a marketing intern before joining the credit union full-time later that year. In her current role, she enables organizational growth by translating growth strategies into action, managing key partnerships, and delivering marketing efforts that strengthen member engagement and community impact. For JHCU members, Kaytlin’s recognition reflects the credit union’s ongoing investment in developing talent that strengthens member communication, deepens community connection, and creates more meaningful experiences with expanded access to financial education and support.
"Kaytlin’s Emerging Leader award is a testament to the impact she is already making for our members and our community," said Kristofer Callahan, SPHR, Vice President, People & Culture, JHCU. "Her thoughtful leadership and unwavering commitment reflect the kind of growth we strive to cultivate at Johns Hopkins Credit Union, where people are supported in becoming the leaders who shape our future. We are incredibly proud of her achievement and look forward to her continued impact across our organization and the credit union movement."
As the 2026 Emerging Leader, Kaytlin will receive a professional development package, which includes:
